Online private banking almost there

By 2015 bank customers will use digital banking more than they use branches according to ‘The New Digital Tipping Point’ report from PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The survey, of 3,000 people in 9 countries, suggests that customers are willing to pay up to £10 a month for online banking if they receive convenience and added-value services.

Online private banking needs to bring various positive points to the users:

  • View all your balances and transactions for:
  1. Current Accounts
  2. Credit and Charge Cards
  3. Money Market Accounts
  • Transfer money between your accounts
  • Send money abroad in most currencies
  • Pay bills
  • Make same day money transfers to any account in the UK
  • Make regular or one-off payments
  • Amend or cancel your regular payments
  • Manage your standing order and direct debit instructions
  • Send secure messages to our 24 hour helpdesk
